| Well Friends, It looks as though God has something He would like to teach Lisa and I. I can't say that I know what that is at this time but I think I have a good clue. You know, it's when things seem to be going well the Lord decides He wants to keep you on your toes. It's during this time we learn what it means to be in constant prayer. I know from personal experience that when things seem A-OK, I have a tendency to forget the very one who got me through the tough times in the first place. When God claims that He is a jealous God, He is not speaking idol talk. God does not want us to forget Him, especially those that have dedicated their lives to Him. It is true that Lisa and I are facing difficult decisions and through much prayer and advice from our pastor we have decided to move forward with a plan that will not only help us but will also be very very hard for the both of us. We have come to the conclusion that God never intended for the path of life for us to be smooth and straight at this time. However, the conclusion of this difficult time will prove to be very benifical for both of us. Dear friends, in due time, Lisa and I will let you know what the decision was, but for now, we must see how things play out in the next week before we tell anybody what is taking place. We love you all and we thank you all for your prayers and support at this time in our lives. My God Bless you all | | |
| Well, I must say! I am sorry that I do not do a better job at posting on this site. I have a MY Space account and I am always checking that one but for some reason I forgot this one. Since the last time I entered anything on here a lot has happened. Lisa and I are married now, we moved out of Franklin Mills Apartments, and moved to the SE side of town. Some would say that this area is bad but we like were we live. We also have a dog now and her name is Sophie, she is a mix between a Jack Russell and a Rat Tarrier. Here she is!!!! Isn't she precious? She is my little girl, she is very laid back for a hyper breed of dog. She just loves to be either on our laps or covered with a blanket all the time. I also have a new job, I sell the worlds finest set of Kitchen Cutlery that is made here in the United States called Cutco. If you know of it or would like to know more about it please let me know and I will be more than happy to talk to you about it. I must go for now, Lisa and I are having dinner at my parents tonight. | | |
| Fifty-two days until Lisa is my wife.
I'm excited
On a more boring, but still somewhat exciting note... I have a full-time job now working with Royal Plastics in Hudsonville. It's a lot of fun and I really enjoy working with the people there.
I also graduated a couple weeks ago. Now I officially have my Bachelors of Science degree in Pre-Seminary Studies. It took me five years, but it was well worth it! I'm so glad to be done now though, because now I can think more about being married to Lisa
Leave a comment-I might actually check my site more often!
| Wow am I horrible at this Xanga thing. I have not updated since June 20th of 05. Will, I am here to say YEA!!!! STEELERS. So, All of you that cheered for the Sea Hawks, I am truly sorry that your team did not win. If they would have, they most certainly would have deserved it, because they played their hearts out all year long to get to the Super-Bowl . SO, CHEER UP SEATTLE FANS, THERE IS ALWAYS NEXT YEAR . | | |
| Boy I should update more often.
Yes my friends, I am engaged. Lisa said yes and I am so excited. We have set a date in stone; it is July 2, 2006 which seems at this time so far away. I know that if other people’s weddings make me cry, my wedding will not be any different.
I have been working 50-60 hours a week with my wedding in mind and not to mention my bride. Please keep us in your prayers because we are both working hard and we see very little of each other. I miss her and I can not wait to see her at night when we are both too exhausted to talk to each other. However, just being able to hold her close makes my night better.
